Clean Air Day – 15th June 2023

Thursday 15 June is Clean Air Day, the UK's largest air pollution campaign

Thursday 15 June is Clean Air Day, which is the UK's largest air pollution campaign. The World Health Organisation and the UK Government recognise that air pollution is the largest environmental health risk we face today. This year the Clean Air Day campaign is focusing on how cleaning up the air can protect our mental and brain health.

Access Clean Air Day learning resources to get your school involved – there are assemblies and lessons for KS1, 2 and 3

If your pupils would like to do more  - a homework activity could be to take part in the Mayor Of London’s Clean Air Day Challenge. The task is to design an A4 poster on the theme: 'what clean air means to me', and the winning artwork could feature in the Mayor's Clean Air Day celebration.
