As part of the formal coronation events, Charles Dickens Primary School hosted a visit from the First Lady of the United States, Dr Jill Biden and Prime Minster’s wife, Akshata Murty on Friday 5 May. The pupils and staff of Charles Dickens shared their broad and rich curriculum, including forest school, art lessons and music. Another great team effort led by Michael Eggleton, Charles Dickens headteacher, who also endured a week of secret service preparations. They were so impressed they gave him one of their team mugs!
