What is it?

At the Charter Trust, we work together for the benefit of all children in our schools, especially those facing disadvantage. Lead Practitioners play a key role in this work, leading subject networks, sharing best practice and supporting colleagues within, and sometimes beyond, our family of schools.

Lead Practitioners are excellent practitioners who not only demonstrate expertise in their field but also lead others to improve their practice, resulting in positive impact on student learning. The accreditation programme, run in partnership with SSAT, supports you to gather a portfolio of evidence against the ten Lead Practitioner Standards.
